Main clause: Ich habe gestern das Buch gelesen. Past participle (Partizip II) at the end. Subordinate clause (e.g. weil, dass): ..., weil ich das Buch gelesen habe. Here both the participle and the auxiliary are at the end; the auxiliary comes last. Tip: In Schreiben, check that in every weil/dass/obwohl clause the verb is at the end.
